By providing a dedicated source of funds, Wave could update its system to be more efficient and frequent with limited stops and more direct routes, keep large buses on the most used routes and place smaller buses on routes that are not in high demand, and increase on-demand microtransit for other riders. This would help increase ridership throughout the system, and lead to more users of Wave Transit.
